Wagtail - Camper van, Trailer tent or Tent Pitch. Not suitable for caravans.

King's Mill

Offering plenty of outdoor living space, Wagtail enjoys plenty of sunshine, a west-facing aspect with evening light and its own entrance into the woodland. Private hot shower, eco toilet, timber shelter with prep bench, campfire and on-pitch parking.

Wagtail has a bright, open feel while still keeping the character of a woodland pitch. Its position gives you easy access to the shop, kitchen area and meadow walk when needed, but the pitch itself still feels tucked away among the trees.

With woodland adventures on the doorstep and evening light to enjoy back at your pitch, Wagtail is a lovely choice for guests who want a balance of nature, sunshine and convenience. It is well suited to tents, campervans and trailer tents, but is not suitable for caravans.

Please ensure you add the number of adults and children when making your booking. There is a field with drop-down options to populate this information. Electric hook-up and dogs must be added as additional extras if required.

A perfect break at Kings Mill
We had a gorgeous 2 night stay at Kings Mill last weekend. The hosts are so friendly and greet you at the entrance to the site to show you to your pitch and explain everything about it. The site itself is well maintained and extremely quiet and peaceful. Excellent facilities on your own private pitch including an eco toilet, shower and shelter with picnic bench. Bins also provided on your pitch. We made good use of the honesty shop, it’s stocked with lots of camping essentials as well as ice creams, dog treats, beers and award winning burgers from the local butchers. Less than 10 minute drive to Freshwater west beach. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Happy days at King's Mill
Facilities as described on website - hosts Jo & Nick genuinely welcoming, friendly and passionate about their site and its environment (especially the ancient woodland). We will definitely visit again.

Amazing stay at Kingsmill
We had an amazing 3 nights at Kinsgsmill. The site is perfectly located for exploring with lots to see and do nearby. The secluded pitch was huge, it was raining when we arrived but we soon had a fire and bbq going under the covered area. Nick and Jo are perfect hosts. I wish we’d stayed longer. It’s the best site we’ve ever stayed on in 30 years. You have your own slice of the country. Outdoor living at its best.
